About

Hello everyone, my name is Chris Weedon and I’m a 24-year-old British, second-year, Film Studies and Journalism student at Kingston University, London.

I have always been very active in cycling, ever since my granddad taught to me ride two wheels when I was five, and I’m always keen to keep a watchful eye on the issues and dangers that affect the many cycling commuters of London, especially around my home borough of Sutton.

As well as this, my other keen interests include watching films, retro gaming, the band RUSH (who released one of my favourite albums of all time, Roll The Bones), drumming, and being an avid reader of the news.

So far in my Journalism experience, I have written Arts and Sports stories on the news desk of the Wimbledon and Wandsworth Guardian newspaper.

When I graduate from university I have aspirations of becoming a Film Historian at the British Film Institute, or working at a specialist magazine as a Film Critic, such as Sight & Sound or Empire.

I one day hope to take my cycling escapades abroad, I have my sights set on New York and Barcelona, and who knows, the next stop could be The New York Times.

Be prepared, The Eco Knight has risen…
